6:36:45
Okay.
6:36:46
Hi.
6:36:46
I've been waiting a while.
6:36:48
I'm a, 3rd generation New Yorker since everybody else has seemed to be identifying themselves.
6:36:55
My name is Michelle Campo.
6:36:56
I thank you for holding this hearing.
6:36:58
I'm here in support of Priscilla's Law 0606.
6:37:03
I've waited I've been till the end of the everybody else and I seem to be between 2 TA people, so I'm really happy.
6:37:11
I wanna say that my husband who is a prof excuse me?
6:37:17
My husband is a professional cyclist.
6:37:21
He was, he was track director of the Velodrome.
6:37:24
He knows how to ride a bike.
6:37:26
He coached the West Point Cadets.
6:37:29
He was on the he was on the bike path coming downtown on the west side.
6:37:35
He was hit from behind by somebody who cursed him out at the time.
6:37:39
He was in an EVHICLE, this guy.
6:37:42
Hit him, sent him flying.
6:37:44
He couldn't identify the guy.
6:37:46
The guy cursed at him because, oh, he was in his way, so he had to hit him.
6:37:50
And then, and there were 2 people.
6:37:53
It was by Chelsea Piers.
6:37:54
There were 2 women there with little flags to tell people what to do.
6:37:57
They said, oh, you did the wrong thing.
6:37:59
Did they call it in?
6:38:00
No.
6:38:01
Nobody called it in.
6:38:03
So that's not on the record either.
6:38:05
I don't know about this data that DOT has, but it's a little skewed.
6:38:10
And I I had to urge him because he's a little, you know, strong guy, to go and finally check out that, yes, he had 3 fractured ribs.
6:38:24
Nothing was done about this.
6:38:27
But if I ever find this guy, I have a cane and when I walk down the sidewalk and somebody's coming at me on an e bike, I said, what you gonna do now?
6:38:40
So that's my defense.
6:38:42
I haven't been hit, but if I have, you might see me on the news because, I don't know, they might be hurt.
