Council Member Farías inquires about the outreach methods used for the industrial business survey. Sherry Lane from SBS explains the various approaches employed by their vendors.

  • Vendors conduct daily outreach in their communities
  • Outreach methods include face-to-face interactions, canvassing, digital communication (emails, social media), and other community-specific strategies
  • The outreach aims to spread awareness about both the survey and free services offered by the city for small businesses

How have you folks done the outreach for the survey?

What what are the mechanisms that we've utilized so far?
Sherry Lane

Sure.

So, all of the the vendors that I just mentioned, are responsible every day for being out and about in their communities and and, meeting with small businesses.

And so on top of that, they've been tasked with, really intentionally spreading the word, both about the survey, but also about all of the free services that the city offers for small businesses.

So, they'll do that, face to face and in canvassing on their on their streets.
0:39:27
They'll do it digitally through emails or social media marketing, and other ways that they've found work successfully in their communities.
