And on the resource level, I just want to talk about, something that I proposed and even, proposed legislation and spoke to the mayor and spoke to the council many times, the city the our city council, that we should open up our schools as re as areas for recreation for our kids.
2:27:59
It's not much money.
2:28:01
It's an investment into our all our communities, and this should be done in every community around the city.
2:28:06
Open up our schools.
2:28:07
They exist.
2:28:07
They have beautiful gyms, some of them.
2:28:09
They have, a a large area of recreation, both the school yards or inside.
2:28:16
And yet, every year for the last 3 years in the budget, the mayor said he likes the idea.
2:28:20
He's when he was borough president, he liked the idea.
2:28:24
And every year in the budget, it doesn't happen.
2:28:27
So that's what my suggestion has been.
2:28:29
I have legislation.
2:28:30
I, my my colleagues should sign on to that legislation, because that does help with the resources of communities where kids are not on the street and they don't get into trouble.
2:28:41
But, so, so I think we have to get to, you know, to stop vilifying our police officers who are trying to do their job.
