Thank you, Commissioner Ross.
0:22:06
Appreciate that.
0:22:08
And These are your questions right now.
0:22:17
Okay.
0:22:17
You need a darker bed.
0:22:18
Yeah.
0:22:27
Thank you, Paul.
0:22:28
I'm going to be very brief in my questioning.
0:22:30
It's normally my habit to, or, to to let the good members of my committee, who have to be many places, to get their questions in, so they can get on with their day.
0:22:43
I'm going to be here for the whole time anyway, but I'm just going to, and I have, you know, my own prepared questions.
0:22:50
I'm just going to walk through your statement a little bit and just go over a couple of items, and then I'll turn it over.
0:22:56
And I see we already have them down for questions.
0:22:58
We have council member Ammarado and council member Holden already signed up.
0:23:03
And, anyone, any members who want to ask questions should signal to Austin, and he'll put you down for questions.
0:23:11
Starting from the end and and and and working backwards, you know, regarding the 2 bills, you know, we certainly appreciate, your position on this, with the one about the, transfer of liability.
0:23:28
I'm I'm not insensitive to the fact that that could, you know, have, impacts on the cure provision.
0:23:38
I I I knew that from the get go, but, I also think that there's a basic unfairness when the person who gets the out of the violation doesn't have to pay the fine, but then leaves it to the owner to chase down the person that that that that got the fine.
0:23:55
This is, you know, this and all and and and, you know, the other bills that deal with noise and and and with with with with idling, they're very, very complicated.
0:24:06
And, and I think I'm known to be, like, very deliberate, so I I look forward to, working with, the DEP team, the commissioner, and the law department to work out something that we can all, get behind.
0:24:24
But now we have your testimony on the record, and I do appreciate that.
0:24:30
Regarding the second piece of legislation, the stormwater, I, you know, we've been working on this a long time, and I'm not going to, in.
0:24:47
There's the mapping bill and what that does, but I think that, Let me just ask you a little bit how the mapping aspect of the, you know, proposed intro is a challenge to DEP in coming up with a snowmotor management plan.
0:25:16
Anybody who wants to speak to that is fine.
0:25:18
You just have to, identify yourself for the record.
