Council Member Lynn Schulman explains her vote by highlighting two street co-namings in her district. She discusses the significance of naming streets after Guru Tegh Bahadur Marg Ji and Alfie's Pizzeria, both important figures in the South Richmond Hill community.

  • Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Way honors the 9th guru of Sikhism at the corner of 114th Street and 101st Avenue.
  • Alfie's Way recognizes Alfie Muuto and Alfie's Pizzeria at the corner of 117th Street and Myrtle Avenue.
  • Both co-namings celebrate community leaders and institutions that have made significant contributions to the neighborhood.
