Hi.
5:29:47
I'm Matt Dennys, and I'm lucky enough to be a homeowner in Flatbush, just down the hill from the set.
5:29:52
And I'm here to express my strong support for this proposal.
5:29:56
This is a great way to add much needed affordable and market rate homes to the neighborhood.
5:30:00
And in the context of our housing shortage and affordability crisis, we need projects like this all over the city, but especially in neighborhoods like Windsor Terrace and South Slope where it's already particularly expensive.
5:30:12
Adding new homes here will be a nice change from the current use of this site, and it will strengthen the character of the neighborhood by providing new neighbors with a place to live and adding customers for the many delightful small businesses in the area, which are worth biking up a big hill to visit as I can tell you from personal experience.
5:30:30
So I'd like to ask the council to please approve this project.
5:30:33
Thank you.
