Good afternoon, community and council members.
4:23:45
I speak to you today as a resident of council member Hanif's 39th district in South Slope Windsor Terrace.
4:23:51
What we have heard today is primarily from a single family's expensive lawyers and 100 of 1,000 of dollars of lobbyists is that we will provide those update, or we will look into that, or we look forward to working with stakeholders.
4:24:06
None of this is binding, requires no action on the part of the developers, yet us, the residents, will
UNKNOWN

be bound by their actions

for decades and generations to come.
4:24:24
City regulations will give them.
4:24:27
We've heard today from various housing lobbies like Open New York, from lobbyists who live in Bushwick or Fort Greene, not our community.
4:24:34
And our community board saw through the charade in their 30 to 6 vote.
4:24:39
Council member Hanif, we urge you to do the same.
4:24:43
I urge you to consider the alternate proposal that you've heard today.
4:24:46
7 story zoning with 40% mandatory inclusive house.
4:24:50
This would create affordable units, and an r six a zoning is the only thing that's appropriate for the site.
4:24:57
I please, encourage you to disapprove of the application.
4:25:02
Council member Hanif, we elected you to city council because we believe that you put ideals over corporations and rich out of city financiers and developers.
4:25:11
Council member, you promised to represent us, and we believed you.
4:25:15
And if you represent us, we will ensure that you are returned to office in the next election.
4:25:19
Thank you very much.
