Good morning.
1:03:19
Good morning, council member Brandon.
1:03:21
My name is Christopher Leon Johnson, and I'm here to support the bills that, council member Sandy Nurse has introduced to, protect the, the small business owners when it comes to, notified of educating and outreach on the property tax.
1:03:37
This is my opinion is that, the homeowners, any homes, and we'll say, people who need these protections and they need these outreach is because, everybody knew that the city has one of the highest taxes in the country when it come to property tax, and they need to be, educated on where is that money is going to and why they're paying it while the same time that the city council need to support, the bills that were introduced by, council member, Farrah Lewis and the speaker, Adrian Adams, when it comes to, short term rentals for Air Bib.
1:04:14
I know that the city council scared the hotel trace of commission, hotel trades union.
1:04:18
So but they need to support that bill while the same time, I hope that city nurse who likes to always, put bills to get around things.
1:04:26
She needs to, introduce a bill to not only, give tax rebates to any property owner that delivers short term rentals for, people that wanna rent out of at homes or condos or co ops.
1:04:43
So I I hope that the city council, yeah, they they do outreach for people that, pay property tax.
1:04:49
They need to do outreach, to protect the people that are doing short term rentals.
1:04:54
They should be they shouldn't be allowing people's own own homes to do short term rentals.
1:04:59
Instead, there's letting hotel trades union, run the show.
1:05:02
But like I said, I hope saying there's issue of a bill to, start, giving tax rebates, their tax cuts, and tax exemptions to any property owner in New York City.
1:05:12
Every property every property owner in New York City that, that do short term rentals, in the city.
1:05:19
