It's easier maybe to calculate than, I don't know, 4 hours to go to housing court, if you're lucky, 4 hours to go to HRA for, SNAP benefit.

So the idea here would be, to broaden the, list of reasons that workers can use, their paid safe and sick time, and also to integrate the temporary schedule change protections with the paid safe and sick leave protections.

And so, you know, the idea is, for example, if someone has just childcare needs, not a sick child, just childcare, they would be able to use their paid safe and sick time for that.

You know, assuming they have 56 hours of paid time, it would be an additional 16 hours in addition.

And those additional 16 unpaid, just as it is now under the temporary schedule change law, we would, anticipate that employers would administer that benefit, all sort of together as a single benefit, so that it's easy for workers to understand how to use it and for employers to administer it.
