Okay.
0:30:32
Okay.
0:30:33
Thank you for that.
0:30:35
Commissioner Pollock, could you go into some detail about the bonus pay incentive to our 911 dispatchers?
Daniel Pollock
0:30:43
Sure.
0:30:43
So, we negotiated with DC 37, using equity funding, a bonus of, $10,000 per year, which is broken down to $5,000 for each 6 month period for 911 operators.

Say it again?
0:30:59
$5,000?
Daniel Pollock
0:31:00
$5,000 for each 6 month period.
0:31:02
Okay.
0:31:02
So initially it was January through June, then, July through December.
0:31:09
We've recently negotiated some modifications to the to the program.
0:31:13
We also said there's an attendance threshold to be eligible for the bonus.
0:31:18
So, you know, 911 has been dealing with kind of large absence problems.
0:31:24
And one of the things that we really want to focus on, both the union and the city, was essentially to give incentive for those who are, you know, coming to work, a lot and are not excessively absent.
0:31:35
So we set a threshold for attendance where you have to meet that threshold to be eligible for the bonus.
0:31:44
And so we have now moved into you know, the 1st year has passed.
0:31:47
We made some modifications based on feedback and concerns, and now there's kind of some slightly slight adjustments for the next year.
