  • Fellows start at minimum wage during training, progressing to $35/hour and up to $75/hour for overtime
  • 75% of program graduates are working in the industry
  • Over 50 people are on track to join the union, transitioning to middle-class jobs

Can you talk a little bit about the the wages?
1:52:06
What kind of support does roundabout provide to fellows, and and how do you encourage retention in the program?
UNKNOWN
1:52:13
Absolutely.
1:52:14
So this is an earn to learn model.
1:52:16
So fellows are paid, minimum wage during their 1st year in training, but what we do to track impact is to really track wages.
1:52:24
So we see that the end of the program, they're earning up to $35 an hour and up to $75 an hour for, overtime and holiday pay.
1:52:32
So we really start to see income growth and wage growth, and that's that's one of the big key indicators of success.
1:52:39
We're lucky that 75% of folks who have gone through the program are now working in
UNKNOWN

the industry.
1:52:44
And we have,
UNKNOWN
1:52:44
I think, over 50 I think, over 50 people on track to join the union, like Manny, which is great.
1:52:53
So we can really see that that, transition into union middle class jobs.
