Reporting from Paul Publica and research from the Brennan Center, and I thank the Brennan Center for all their efforts, have shown that NYPD has restricted restricted the IG's access to records and witnesses withheld information the IG was legally entitled to, excessively redacted material, and instructed witnesses to cancel interviews and delay IG requests.
