It's just confusing for me to follow that logic because you're saying that you want to DMAP and become the owner of it, but as a neighbor to it, you don't want to be bothered by it.

But it's clear to us as as a local council member, we have multiple sites.

For example, we have a MTA owned site, in Long Island City that we have had DHS go out to, DSNY go out to, and communities have volunteered to clear clean up the site from drug, drug paraphernalia, as well as homeless encampments where multiple nonprofits have come together to clean up that site.

So now that it's on our map for us, for our awareness with the community board, I have no doubt that other people would if notified that they would get the agencies involved, then there would be oversight and accountability to make sure that the agency is doing its job to keep that clean.
