1:41:39
We'll absolutely work on the website.
Rita Joseph
1:41:40
Thank you.
1:41:41
It has to be parent friendly.
1:41:42
Right?
1:41:42
I'm a parent and I think I'm tech savvy and it's so hard to navigate that website sometime.
1:41:47
I think it should be parent friendly.

1:41:49
Deeply heard.
1:41:51
When we look at district 79 and our transfer schools, one of the most important things is to purport prepare them for career at the same time that they're getting their diploma.
1:42:00
And so there are a couple, situations that we have that are really supportive of that.
1:42:05
One One thing the superintendent is doing is looking at at the transfer schools.
1:42:09
Some of them may have carpentry.
1:42:10
Some of them may have culinary.
1:42:12
But at the school you're at, you may not want the career development option that's at that school.
1:42:18
So what he's doing is actually partnering the schools together, so they're a little consortium.
1:42:23
So if I'm at a transfer school that's offering carpentry, but I am really interested in the culinary arts, having access to those free opportunities to be able to develop those skills at the same time I'm working on my degree.
1:42:36
Certainly connecting those, students in transfer schools to future ready is a huge part of it.
1:42:41
I'm working with Job Corps and all of the amazing district 79 programs are part of this as well.
1:42:47
And excited to to share some of those real technical career and technical skills that we're supporting students with.
1:42:54
One of the things that we've noticed for our students with IEPs and transfer schools is many of them are already working and and working to make sure that we have actually school work that's accessible to them during hours when they are not working so that they continue to earn credits, and get their high school diploma.
1:43:11
Thank you.
Rita Joseph
1:43:12
On your website, it says coming soon.
1:43:14
What's the hold up?
1:43:16
When is there a commitment in the next 2 weeks?
1:43:18
We can find that information on the website while you rebuild out this website.
John Hammer
1:43:22
We we very much appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we've we've done some work to
Sara Fredman Aeder
1:43:27
our website
John Hammer
1:43:27
and information is accessible to families.
1:43:32
The information can be found under the programming infrastructure tab of the playbook, under equity.
1:43:38
And so we've we've made some of those fixes to the to the website, and and we'll continue to work with our with our partners to ensure that, families are able to find that easily.
Rita Joseph
1:43:47
Thank you.
1:43:47

1:43:49
