Small business owners often require legal assistance on many issues, including to understand their obligations to the city, understand contracts they enter into between other stakeholders, and, of course, to assert their rights as tenants.

To this end, the Department of Small Business Services, through their Commercial Lease Assistance Program, provides free legal assistance for small business owners dealing with commercial lease issues.
