We are happy to present this proposal for 581 Grant Avenue, development today.

I'm a senior planner with HPD's Office of Neighborhood Strategies.

I'm joined by my colleagues, Zlata Kupznetsev, who's the director of the ELLA, program at HPD and, Justin Donlin of our intergovernmental office who, will help us, answer questions today, as well as, members of the development team, including Thomas Campbell of Thoroughbred Companies, the developer, Sandy Rosario of Thoroughbred, Er Rainier of, who is the executive director of the Bangladeshi American Community Development and Youth Services or BACDA's community partner, and Paul Dustin Munoz of Think Architects.

This is an application by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and certified into ULRP on 08/19/2024.

Although not part of the rezoning area, this site was identified as a potential affordable housing site through the East New York neighborhood planning process and was designated to the development team in 2019 through a competitive RFP process.
