In conclusion, I wanna take a moment to thank all of New York City's foster parents who've opened their hearts and homes for the children and youth in their care.

Not only do they open their homes, they give up so much control of their lives having to get to appointments and visits.

I also want to thank our 25 foster care providers who spend each and every day meeting the needs of the children and youth in foster care as well as their families.

And finally, want to thank the children and youth who have not only been in the foster care system, but have leveraged that experience to support us to help children and youth who come into foster care after them.
