Yeah.
1:01:23
I think that's sometimes like my overall issue with many agencies that contract out, like, you know, New York City, like, most of the work that we do in human services is contracted out.
1:01:38
And I think my issue with that, and I know the chair and I have talked a lot about this as it pertains to the crisis management system.
1:01:48
But I think that the crux of this can be found in many agencies that contract out their services is that, like, continuity across agencies.
1:01:57
So if one agency is doing this particular evidence based model on how to ensure that they're decreasing violence or whatever versus another one, like, how are we ensuring, like, if there is truly a best practice model that's working at HSVS, how can we ensure that Forestdale is also I'm just like naming organization.
1:02:20
I know of like Forestdale is like adopting, this model that has been proven successful.
1:02:27
Like the issue that we have had with the CMS system and now like hearing some of the things you're saying, I'm wondering if this is I'm not sure.
1:02:33
But like it's like yeah, there's a great healing model that one provider is is doing in the community, and then this organization is doing excellent at workforce development.
1:02:46
How can we kind of, like, match these evidence based models that have been proven successful in a New York City urban environment?
1:02:58
And I don't have the answer.
1:02:59
And that's the last thing I wanna say just to, like, violence and staff.
1:03:05
I think making sure that staff feel safe is important to the the youth and the children feeling safe.
1:03:11
And I continue to receive a ton of complaints across various spaces, whether it's residential or Crossroads Horizon or some of the non secure placement facilities about, like, violence and staff not feeling supported around that if an incident occurs.
1:03:35
And so I just always like to uplift that.
1:03:37
It's important.
1:03:38
We care about the young person.
1:03:39
We 100% That is our focal point.
1:03:42
But if the people that are not caring for the young people feel safe, I feel like it it also impacts or it could impact how they interact with young people,
Althea Stevens
1:03:53
you know.
Jess Dannhauser
1:03:53
It most definitely does.
