Nantasha M. Williams
1:05:48
Yeah.
1:05:48
And I appreciate that that distinction.
1:05:50
I know that the population and like foster care is like different.
1:05:54
So I I I do appreciate that.
1:05:56
And I I didn't mean to conflate the just
Jess Dannhauser
1:05:59
wanted to
Nantasha M. Williams
1:05:59
I was just thinking about like Yeah.
1:06:01
I was just thinking about staff and violence.
1:06:03
And so just this is like my last question.
1:06:06
So, do you have a mechanism?
1:06:08
I know you like come from that space, which is like why you're so valuable.
1:06:11
But is there currently a mechanism to sort of look at the innovation coming from providers and figure out how to scale across the agency?
1:06:21
Like, do you have a system or is just you being just and anecdotally looking at like, is there an official system where you're like, oh, I see that this is we see that this has been working through our conversations with providers.
1:06:32
And like, maybe this is something we wanna scale again across the agency.
Jess Dannhauser
1:06:37
Yeah.
1:06:37
Yes and no.
1:06:38
It's certain on the yes side.
1:06:41
When we see providers doing well, let's say in permanency, we'll, you know, have them give a presentation to the rest of the providers.
1:06:49
Same thing on engagement and preventive services.
1:06:52
DC Lignaris will have them come give a presentation so people can learn from that.
1:06:56
I think recently we had a presentation for the Center of Family Life.
1:07:00
On the no side where I think we can do better is, I think providers aren't convinced that we will be nimble enough to sort of move budgets around, change contract language to make sure that they can do those innovations with our support, not just with private support.
1:07:19
And so with Doctor.
1:07:20
Charles and Kafka, I think we're starting to work towards that process and to make sure that our processes are nimble enough not only to get paid on time, but also to make sure that if we wanna modify a budget and it's within the contract, then it's legal.
1:07:35
We should be able to do that and do it quickly.
Nantasha M. Williams
1:07:38
I appreciate that.
1:07:40
Thank you for answering questions and Nikki chair.
Jess Dannhauser
1:07:42
Thanks, council member.
