Good afternoon.
4:21:19
Two officers oh, no.
4:21:21
Your public safety anyway, good morning, sir.
4:21:29
Good afternoon, sir.
4:21:30
My name is Emily Yuexing Miller, And I I'm very touched and invigorated on the other hand by a lot of speakers here to reflect all those various issues in the community.
4:21:46
As a community leader that was invited in 1990 to help America, I feel for all of what you said.
4:21:58
You know, actually, I graduated from grad school here in Manhattan, and I also lived in Manhattan for thirty seven years.
4:22:08
And, unfortunately, I was when I was fighting for our community, also got injured when I was in Brooklyn.
4:22:15
And I was like Celine mentioned about people who live in a particular zip code get racially profiled or discriminated.
4:22:34
So I had been always lived in a equivalent of a Madison Avenue kind of a neighborhood in my parents' home, and I was always representing people from senior to adolescent.
4:22:52
And in here, I happen to live in a zip code.
4:22:56
Everybody thought it was not too bad, so they fear for being attacked or racially profiled and would always ask me because when I show my driver's license, probably would help them being less discriminated.
4:23:16
So that's why they always while they're working hard, they always have me to represent them.
4:23:21
And instead, I got badly beaten because of my appearance as an Asian.
4:23:28
So I I really think all of you brought out very, very important crucial issues about how this leading city of the world should treat our people that's from a very diversified background and different age groups.
4:23:52
And recently I also encountered situations about people who actually married US citizens for green card, which I always warmly embrace them if they truthfully love this American lady and just like they love our country.
4:24:15
But instead, some of them are not cooperative.
4:24:19
They do have a temper issue that leads them to violence, and I do hope our city would do something about it.
4:24:28
And I did have some reports submitted to district attorney.
4:24:34
Believe it's what is her name?
4:24:37
Not on top of my hand.
4:24:38
It's in my email.
4:24:40
But anyway, thank you very much for listening.
