1:20:38
So all of them are based in New York City or Long Island?
Raymond Medina
1:20:45
Yes.
1:20:46
I can add.
Jill Berry
1:20:46
And my colleague will talk about the MWB.
Raymond Medina
1:20:50
Alright.
1:20:51
Thank you so much for that question, council member Viles.
1:20:55
So, in terms of MWBE participation, we're looking at on all food contracts, including the prime contracts, 53% utilization by MWBE.
1:21:11
And then in terms of subcontracts, MWBE have 56% of subcontracts by volume, totaling almost 100 contracts and 43% of food subcontracts by value, totaling a hundred 12,000,000 in sub in subcontracts.

And and when I say New York based, it means that not just the geographically the workers are here, but that the company is a New York based company.
Raymond Medina
1:21:42
So aside from them being certified by New York City, the the vendors that I've listed, Their certification zip codes are also in the boroughs or as First Deputy Commissioner mentioned in Long Island, I think two of them.
Alexa Aviles
1:21:57
Okay.
1:21:58
And I guess I'd love to I'd love to understand, and this might be part of your reporting back on the halal is to understand how many subcontractors are claiming to provide halal foods within this mix and how many how much are being utilized and how does that compare to all the other food requests like the vegan providers and the kosher providers and, you know, how what that looks like in terms of an equitable spread across these distinctions.
1:22:32
Thank you.
