Good good afternoon.
4:03:03
I'm a resident of NYCHA for a long time.
4:03:07
I've been a resident since 1969, and I feel that NYCHA is giving us a slap in the face.
4:03:15
You could see the empty room that they don't even wanna listen to our testimony.
4:03:20
Mhmm.
4:03:21
You know, they don't care.
4:03:24
I believe that I believe in Section 9, I want no demolition in Chelsea, Elliott, and Fulton.
4:03:33
And I I believe that these people are land grab, money grab people that don't care about the low income people.
4:03:47
And I believe we are all going within time, we're gonna go homeless.
4:03:52
There's gonna be a lot of homelessness.
4:03:55
We have homelessness as it is from other from other buildings, and what they're doing is trying to get rid of us from the city.
4:04:05
And where are we going?
4:04:07
Where are we going?
4:04:09
Nowhere.
4:04:10
We don't have no money to buy a house.
4:04:13
We have no money there's no means the only thing that saved me for years was NYCHA because I worked on a low income and I'm retired, and it's scary.
4:04:25
And I I come here for help, and I beg you to take into consideration all the tenants and all the people that are homeless with all those empty apartments that they have in NYCHA, the 5,000 apartments, they could put homelessness, the homeless people in there, and we can continue with the section nine.
4:04:50
Thank you.
