For having thanks for having me.
4:56:12
My name is Simone Hall.
4:56:13
I live in Boston Seco houses in the Bronx.
4:56:16
Boston Seco is a federal building, and section nine is a federal program.
4:56:21
Before RAD PAC, things were okay, but now it's different with privatization.
4:56:26
Living in NYCHA allowed me to raise three engineers, and then I went to college and earned an associate's degree.
4:56:31
We were happy, but not now.
4:56:34
Repair tickets weren't canceled back then as they are now.
4:56:38
Now repairs are not being done at all, and there are new rules and regulations.
4:56:43
I always pay my rent on time within the first five days of the month.
4:56:47
Now red statements arrive here very late in the mail up to eighteen days after the due date.
4:56:55
Senators are scared about being evicted because of all the threats and bullying.
4:57:00
This has even extended.
4:57:02
These threats have even extended to my family members who were led to believe by phone that a real emergency occurred concerning me when what was really the matter was the management was trying to get them to convince me to sign the pack lease.
4:57:19
So oh, let me go now.
4:57:21
Now I'm in I'm in touch with the executive secretary to the director of section eight, Robin Tesoriero.
4:57:31
And I was told by the executive secretary that section eight was closed in 02/2009.
4:57:38
It wasn't open legitimately until 06/03/2024.
4:57:44
Several neighbors said they have been signed up for section eight since March twenty sixth of twenty twenty four.
4:57:51
Surprise.
4:57:52
I never signed anything, and I want to see my signature.
4:57:56
A tenant was at a meeting and asked how will we sign up in March.
4:58:01
She said she was unable to get into her tenant's portal.
4:58:06
A packed partner, Samuel Levine, snatched the microphone out of her hand and shouted, don't listen to her.
4:58:13
Don't listen to her.

4:58:14

Simone Hall
4:58:15
An authorized person.
Lisa Hall
4:58:16
We need more time.
Simone Hall
4:58:18
We just thirty seconds.
Chris Banks
4:58:19
You have thirty seconds to wrap it up.
Simone Hall
4:58:21
Okay.
4:58:21
I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna hurry.
4:58:23
PAC partner, Kadisha Wilson, started screaming, repeated, she's a liar.
4:58:27
She's a liar.
4:58:28
The tenants became upset, and the meeting ended with people walking out in disgust.
4:58:32
We have no legitimate tenant association and never had a chance to vote for anyone, especially to make Boston Secor private.
4:58:41
How WaveQuest came to be in Boston Secor houses is a mystery.
4:58:46
WaveQuest has a very bad reputation, especially with evictions.
4:58:51
And I want to know this, and this is very important.
4:58:54
Why has nature abandoned its tenants, and when did it decide to do so?
4:58:59
And there's one thing I wanna tell you, Chris.
4:59:01
These panels that appear today have sworn an oath to tell the truth, but their testimony is questionable and not what residents are really experiencing.
4:59:11
And NYCHA and HUD need a forensic audit done to expose expose their ongoing schemes and scams.
