And we are really happy that this has been brought to this committee and hope to see the best outcome for 2205 Davidson.

And I just wanted to highlight that 2,205 Davidson tenants have been fighting for the last decade.
0:27:59
I personally have been along with them for the last decade in their commitment to building a building that is safe and affordable for them has been inspiring.

I just wanted to mention that the tenants have exhausted, as council member Sanchez mentioned, every single enforcement mechanism available to them, from HPs, as most recent as seven A, which was not supported, unfortunately, in 2020.
0:28:30
The tenants of Davidson have suffered over a decade of conditions that have been a threat to their safety, and they continue to stick together and have been organizing together while ensuring that their neighbors are safe.
