I'd like to take a brief moment to discuss a resolution I'm introducing alongside a package of bills my colleagues in the LGBTQIA plus caucus are introducing today.

Resolution seven seven four calls on the New York State Department of Health to implement regulations requiring hospitals in New York City to adhere to the World Professional Association for Transgender Health's Standards of Care eight, to ensure medical professionals can provide high quality and ethical treatment for transgender nonconforming and nonbinary individuals.
