It's a real privilege to be able to attend this hearing.

This is my first ever city council hearing.

My role here really was to support my friend, my neighbor, Gloria Boyce Charles.

And so she handed me I asked for some testimony just in case I had an opportunity.

I didn't know I would have an opportunity.

I wanted to yield my time to Gloria because she's so much more articulate and knowledgeable about the subject, but I will say that I live in Brookville, Queens, which is two miles north of JFK.

I also live in a zone where we do have, as Gloria mentioned, we do have these industrial zones embedded there.

I have had 53 foot tractor trailers come down my narrow two lane street.

They have driven over a median.

One was driving on the opposite side of the road to get to the destination of one of these industrial zone warehouses.

So I agree, yes, that the I'm in full support.

I'm here to be in favor of ISR 11:30, but I do think, as Gloria mentioned, that the minimum should be under 50,000 square feet because that doesn't account for the huge amount of traffic that we see from trucks.

I also live a mile and a half from that huge Amazon warehouse and the traffic there is enormous and it's all twenty four hours a day.
