I wanna thank you for the opportunity to testify in all the important legislation in this urgent issue, representing both my community as a New Yorker and my organization's work.

We were founded in Brooklyn in 02/2005, and we address all forms of hate and harassment, including the hate and harassment in the trans community.

Our work focuses on turning the care that we have for each other into simple, creative, and effective action.

We train hundreds of people every day, and today we would like to offer our support of the transgender nonconforming and nonbinary community as they face increased hate and discrimination.

We have three supports available for the community specifically.

We're con currently providing free and virtual bystander intervention training to address anti LGBTQ and anti LGBTQIA plus hate at an increased pace, with over 10 free sessions available for all New Yorkers for free online scheduled up until the April.

We know that reporting hate to the police may not always be safe for trans folks, especially black trans women.

And though our through our hate and hope tracker on our website, it's a secure anonymous story sharing platform.

We've collected stories of harassment from individuals since 02/2005.

We have 32,000 plus stories, and it provides room for solidarity.

We also have a unified network of mission aligned peer organizations, our Ally Solidarity Network.

We trust that our city will lead the response nationwide to the current attacks on trans rights.
