But, you know, just to focus on Bellevue, I I have to bring up that we're losing a hospital just down the street from Bellevue.
1:22:03
We're losing Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
1:22:04
You know, on February 24, a state supreme court judge ruled that Mount Sinai Beth Israel's campus would be permitted to close.
1:22:11
So they're slated to close March twenty six of this month twenty twenty five.
1:22:16
As part of the conditions for closure, they'll be operating a temporary urgent urgent care clinic on East Fourteenth Street, and that's in an attempt to maintain continuity of care, which is very, very important.
1:22:29
But another condition for the closure is that Mount Sinai will be providing funding to Bellevue Hospital to renovate its emergency department and to purchase new equipment.
1:22:38
So my questions are how much money will Bellevue be receiving from Mount Sinai?
1:22:42
What specifically will it be used for?
1:22:45
Are there other crucial services that were being offered at Beth Israel that should be made available at other nearby hospitals?
1:22:54
And do you anticipate additional funding needed to manage patient care on an ongoing basis?
