This chapter presents a series of before and after visualizations to illustrate the transformation of the site from parking lots to Metropolitan Park.
- The visualizations show the conversion of 50 acres of asphalt into a 25-acre park with integrated resort facilities.
- Key features highlighted include the new MTA station area, the Taste of Queens food hall, and improved pedestrian and bike connections.
- The images demonstrate how the project will create a more inviting and accessible public space, connecting Flushing Meadows Corona Park to Citi Field and the new soccer stadium.

So the best way to sort of to explain this is to just show before and after images.

Here you are standing in the parking lots, like I said, 25 acres I'm sorry, 50 acres of asphalt.

So you could see the main portion of Metropolitan Park moving straight from the seven train.

You see Citi Field on the right.
0:19:23
You see the integrated resort on the left, and the hotel towers, which were made to be a kind of skyline of the city.

And the design of the project was really to make a civic building that sits in the park, something far more like Lincoln Center rather than something that is not of the DNA of New York.
