Dustin?
2:18:49
There we go.
2:18:50
Hey.
2:18:50
Good morning, counsel.
2:18:51
Thank good afternoon, I should say.
2:18:52
Thank you for having me here today.
2:18:54
My name is Robert Dorsky.
2:18:55
I'm a small business owner out in Flushing, Queens.
2:18:58
I employ close to 30 hardworking individuals.
2:19:01
I'm very involved in the hospitality business.
2:19:04
And upon speaking with fellow business owners in the Flushing community, restaurant, club, and bar owners, we all agree that North Queens needs a project like Metropolitan Park.
2:19:16
We want people who fly into LaGuardia and JFK to stay and spend money in Queens.
2:19:23
We are tired of seeing people go elsewhere and spend their tourist dollars.
2:19:27
In addition to my Flushing business, I'm also a former board member of Sage House Apartments next to Dory Miller in North Corona, a few blocks from Citi Field.
2:19:38
As a longtime resident of Corona, I can tell you Roosevelt Avenue is not a vibe.
2:19:44
It is not a hotspot.
2:19:45
It is rampant with crime.
2:19:47
We should be grateful to Steve Cohen and team to invest in our community, their money, to give us more jobs and opportunities.
2:19:55
So moving forward on that, I've been hearing some of the opposition and the conspiracies out there.
2:20:01
For years, they have engaged the community, and they've actually come up with a program, a Queen's passport program, engaging over 100 restaurants and businesses so money can be spent in our community.
2:20:14
No one else is giving us that opportunity.
2:20:16
So as a local businessman, as a local resident of someone who actually lives in Corona, not these outsiders, this is my backyard.
2:20:23
I'm from Queens.
2:20:24
I would like you to vote yes for Queens and vote yes for Metropolitan Park.
2:20:29
Thank you.
