- EEPC uses DCAS programs for some training, but also relies on the Cornell certification program in EEO
- The Cornell program costs approximately $1,600 per person for six classes
- EEPC aims to train four people on the audit team and three research analysts
- The current training budget of $1,000 is insufficient to cover the needed training

The fiscal twenty twenty five adopted plan included a thousand dollars for a training program for city employees in fiscal twenty twenty five.
1:44:13
In the fiscal twenty twenty six prelim plan, there is $10,000 allocated for the training program in fiscal twenty twenty five.
1:44:21
What type of training will be provided with the $10,000?
1:44:24
How many employees will be trained, why do they need the training, and are there any additional training scheduled or needed in fiscal twenty twenty six?
Jeanne Victor
1:44:32
Okay.
1:44:33
So for a thousand dollars when when we see the thousand dollars in the budget, we use that money for training through DCAS, on DCAS programs.
1:44:44
When we do training, we bring and especially when we bring on new personnel, we look to get them through the Cornell training program which is a certification program in EEO.
1:44:58
All of our staff go through the program so that they're knowledgeable about the EEO laws, about investigations, about EEO reporting.
1:45:10
We would like to continue to do that and especially as we bring on a couple of new personnel, we'll be required to train those those new employees as well.
1:45:23
I'm sorry I don't know if I answered all your Yeah,
Nantasha Williams
1:45:26
the Cornell program though, you have to pay for it, right?
1:45:29
Yes.
1:45:30
So the thousand dollars covers that?
Jeanne Victor
1:45:32
Not at all.
1:45:33
The Cornell program is approximately 1,600 per person and there are six classes that they have to take for certification.
Nantasha Williams
1:45:43
And how many people are in each because it's per person, so how many people are in each training?
Jeanne Victor
1:45:49
So we have four people on the audit team and if if possible we would like to get our the trainer we would like to have our research analysts trained as well that would be another three people.
