What are you doing to remove and then another one, we had a shooting.
0:42:21
We have somebody subleasing an apartment in another building, okay, who then subleased it to somebody else, and there was a shootout.
0:42:28
There are families that live here with children.
0:42:31
What are you doing to remove these individuals who are violating all of your agreements to get rid of them?
0:42:36
What are we doing here?
Eva Trimble
0:42:41
Thank you, council member.
0:42:44
I I understand how frustrating some of situations are to our to our families.
0:42:49
So first, let me start with the doors.
0:42:51
Unfortunately, right now, with with the doors, there can be delays in fixing them because we do require vendors to to fix many of the, you know, magnetic technologies and layered access to people's safety.
0:43:02
I understand.
0:43:04
You have to have fast tracked this.
0:43:05
This is We're we're doing our best to make sure that the vendors are responsive and coming in there.
0:43:11
But as you said too, we we bring them in repair to repair the doors, and they often get broken again, which is why we're very focused on coordinating our efforts with NYPD, with our CCTV cameras in order to try to prevent that vandalism so that the investment we make with our vendors in repairing the doors actually holds.
0:43:29
And that's something I'm happy to come to the site with you and walk with you and and identify the the specific areas that you're talking about so that we can make sure that we have the right focus on it.

It's gonna take a long
Eva Trimble
0:43:40
we're gonna be better put a whole day for that.
0:43:43
I'd be happy to.
0:43:44
I'd be happy to.
0:43:45
Regarding the unauthorized occupants throughout, that is something we are also working very closely with NYPD on.
0:43:53
They have a task force that we've been successfully working with to remove we've removed, I think, over 200 unauthorized occupants, and we've reclaimed those apartments.
0:44:05
And so that is also something I'm happy to work with with your team on.
0:44:09
It's been a very successful partnership.
0:44:12
It is a very difficult process.
0:44:13
Obviously, we have to make sure we've followed up within the time frame that we can before we have to go through kind of
Kristy Marmorato
0:44:22
a housing court type process.
0:44:23
Okay.
0:44:24
Alright.
