But I I I'm looking at the adopted capital plan chart in your testimony on page five, and I'm I'm really struck by the 2026 column that says state capital sources and a big zero.

Why is that, and what are what are we asking the state?
0:59:49
What level of funding are we asking the state to commit to NYCHA?
Annika Lescott-Martinez
0:59:52
Sure.

Thank you for the question, Councilmember Villas.
0:59:55
We are asking the state for $500,000,000 of capital funding in support of our rehabilitation of our properties.
1:00:03
We would welcome any advocacy from our city council members, in support of that ask.
Alexa Avilés

And I guess that is a slightly decreased ask from what, the prior 2025 column shows.

So the prior year includes, a rollover of any funding that wasn't spent previously.
Alexa Avilés

Is there is there a potential for rollover from 2025 into 2026?
Annika Lescott-Martinez
1:00:30
It's certainly possible.
1:00:31
You know, we continue to work to spend on all of our capital funds.
1:00:36
As you know, capital projects take a number of years to complete, so it's certainly possible that some of that money could roll over, but we really do believe that an additional $500,000,000 from the state could help us to make meaningful progress.
