- In 2024, the APU (with only 15 staff members) received 438 cases
- To manage the growing caseload, APU needs to hire three more prosecutors and three more administrative staff members

In 2032, the CCRB and the NYPD signed a memorandum of understanding which stated that the CCRB would prosecute cases of highest level of misconduct referred to as charges and specification.
