Thank you.
6:56:04
So the reason why I bring that up is because I know how proactive you are.
6:56:08
And I just would like to validate all the things that you said, which is because I'm part of it as a council member and as a community member and with our community for your retail theft and trespass affidavit.
6:56:22
It is a home run.
6:56:23
It works from whether you're the Home Depot or the local bagel store or Walgreens.
6:56:28
It stops people from coming in and stealing again because they know that they're going to get arrested.
6:56:34
You're on the ground in closing illegal cannabis shops.
6:56:38
You are on the ground taking unlicensed, unregistered vehicles off our streets.
6:56:43
You you listen when PD brings in and files a report for a recidivist and is asking for bail where appropriate.
6:56:55
You also listen when treatment is appropriate, especially for our youths.
6:57:01
And you know, I think just recently, because I follow you quite closely on social media and I really suggest everyone does, two brothers, you found an arsenal there, twenty five years in prison.
6:57:14
So kudos to you.
6:57:15
People are being arrested in Queens, they're being held at bail with Queens, and they're being prosecuted in Queens.
6:57:22
We recently had a legislative breakfast where you put out your five or six points.
6:57:27
One of those points was for animal cruelty, animal rights and the fact that we need to tighten up those, I guess, the time.
6:57:39
Punishment.
Yusef Salaam
6:57:40
Thank you for
Joann Ariola
6:57:41
the word.
6:57:41
The punishment for people who are abusing animals.
6:57:45
And then we spoke about veterans.
6:57:46
So these, I have two sets of questions.
6:57:50
So I just want to say that I'm very lucky to have you and we are very lucky to have you as our DA because you're already addressing the issues that need to be addressed.
