So I agree and acknowledge that the police department has to invest in a very serious way in our RMPs, in our police cars.
2:33:21
Over the past, I would say three years, there has been a massive under investment of those vehicles which has rendered an intolerable percentage of our vehicle fleet above its useful life.
2:33:41
And so we do plan to make significant investments in addressing this issue.

Christine, do you want to give numbers?
Kristine Ryan
2:33:53
Absolutely.
2:33:54
So speaking to the vehicles being above life cycle, as the commissioner mentioned, we have about 72% of our vehicles are over life cycle, which is really not manageable.
2:34:05
That's why we have included in our executive budget request two zero one b the request for funding of $35,000,000 30 6 million dollars in the budget so that we can start to replace the vehicles and get to a more manageable life cycle replacement schedule.
