With that said, I will just highlight briefly of the things that we've submitted in our testimony more thoroughly, for a consideration in the budget.

We would like to create an intimate partner sexual assault unit within our domestic violence bureau to address the rise in rapes rape cases and the traumatic impact of these cases.

As I said last year, only one category of crime had increased on Staten Island, that was rape.
