The City Council held a voice vote on Resolution 740, which calls on the state legislature to pass and the governor to sign Senate Bill 590 and Assembly Bill 3665. These bills would eliminate the rule that prevents other referendum proposals from appearing on the ballot when a city charter commission puts a proposal on the local ballot. The resolution passed by voice vote.
