Status update on Science Park and Research Campus redevelopment

So I'm happy to report thank thank the city council.

In February, I believe the city council passed the EULIP to allow that project to move forward.

So we're very grateful for that.

This is a a great partnership between the CUNY, the city, and the state.

We the project right now is is set to we we needed to make sure that we accommodated the students that are located in Brookdale.

I'm happy to report that we have we have every student that is up in the Brookdale dorm will be able to get the same price point at a state of the art new facility that we have entered into a a lease agreement with.

So in this this summer they will be after this semester, we'll be moving out of there.

Our goal is to begin to work with the nursing school and and and the users that are there at the the Sparks project to move the nursing school sometime in the December, January of of this year.

Construction is gonna start in in f y twenty seven with construction completed in f y thirty.

Obviously, if my chancellor is listening, I'm gonna try to move that agenda a little bit forward because I know it's a project that he he wants us to move forward.
