My name is Nina Kubota, and I am president and CEO of the New York City School Construction Authority.

I'm joined by First Deputy Chancellor Daniel Weisberg, and by Cora Lu, Vice President of Capital Plan Management of the FCA.

We are pleased to be here today to discuss the updates to the New York City Public Schools SCA's fiscal year twenty twenty five to twenty twenty nine five year capital plan as laid out in the February 2025 proposed amendment.

Coming off of one of our biggest years in our history, we were proud to stand with New York City Public Schools and many of you as we opened 24 new buildings this past September, adding over 11,000 seats to the public school portfolio.

But we didn't celebrate for long.

This September we are opening an additional 6,363 seats across 13 buildings, including the largest project we have ever built, a 3,066 seat high school on Northern Boulevard in Woodside Queens.
