Thank you.
1:56:35
Just wanna ask you a couple as long as we're talking about, the federal government.
1:56:39
So how much of the federal funding does the FDNY currently receive, and what percentage of the department's budget is reliant on these funds?
Robert Tucker
1:56:48
So the department receives about $110,113,000,000 dollars of federal funding.
1:56:58
Much of that funding is World Trade Center related.
1:57:07
And we rely on it and it's important to us.
Joann Ariola
1:57:13
And have you received any guidance from federal agencies regarding any potential changes to that funding?
Robert Tucker
1:57:19
We only were impacted very quickly and momentarily in one research grant that was a part of the World Trade Center grant that compared health cancer diagnosis from firefighters in New York City with diagnosis from firefighters in other major urban cities.
1:57:47
And that grant when we learned that it was being terminated, that's a grant that comes through Einstein.
1:57:58
It's a medical grant but we have the money.
1:58:03
We worked together with our elected officials, and that was turned back on.
