Andrew Kimball addresses rider feedback and common complaints about the NYC Ferry service. He notes that while there are some issues, the overall feedback is generally positive.

  • The most common feedback is a desire for shorter intervals between ferries
  • During peak summer months, especially on weekends, there can be lines at certain stops
  • Typically, passengers can board within the first or second boat arrival
  • Some riders express a desire for additional boats on busy summer weekends
  • Overall, the feedback received about the NYC Ferry service is predominantly positive

I think your your your question about more, you know, shorter intervals between ferries is certainly one that we see, but overwhelmingly, the feedback we get is is very positive.

Certainly in the summer months when you've got spikes like on Saturdays and Sundays when people come out, sometimes there are lines, for the ferry at certain stops.
0:50:39
You know, typically, you're getting on if you don't get that first second boat.
0:50:43
So I I'm sure on some of those Saturdays and Sundays, you know, people would like to see additional boats added.
