There is a we do college and career prep counseling.
0:17:19
Our teens, the teens of this city, depend on us like no one else.
0:17:28
We are ready to increase and improve upon the free programs and services we offer to all New Yorkers that we proudly do.
0:17:37
We want to expand our collections and research materials, add more teen centers and after school locations, and provide more story times.
0:17:47
How can you be against that?
0:17:52
We wanna provide more English classes for speakers of other languages at a moment when the country is turning away from its immigrants, the the people, everyone.
0:18:05
We are all, almost all immigrants to this country.
0:18:10
We have to meet these needs.
0:18:14
We need more book clubs for different ages, we need more tech connect courses to develop new professional skill sets, we need more STEM activities for kids.
0:18:28
We are so grateful to the city council and to its speaker, speaker Adams, for funding or proposing funding for expanded Sunday services so that we can do all of what we want to do every day of the week, including weekends when people are not working.
0:18:50
Because we know New Yorkers are working harder and more, and they need more of our services when we can make that available to them.
0:19:04
So we we we there are even things that you can't imagine.
0:19:11
I mean, here we are in the city that is the center of communications in the world, and a million or more New Yorkers still don't have access to WiFi at home.
