The I'd like to ask you about DP taking control of East Side Coastal Resiliency.
2:52:34
So I think I'm really thrilled that this administration has continued to make progress on this critical infrastructure investment.
2:52:44
Could you speak to the current funding for operations and maintenance the DP has for East Side Coastal Resiliency?
2:52:51
Is and just for my forgive me, don't know about things outside of District 33, is there a timeline that you have for when you're gonna be responsible for taking control of this infrastructure?
2:53:02
And are there yeah.
2:53:06
If you could just speak to that a little bit, I would be helpful.
Rohit Aggarwala
2:53:10
Well, thank you.
2:53:10
And and yeah, I'm I'm I'm really pleased and and deputy commissioner Farrell has done a great job.
2:53:15
We now have also assistant commissioner Pravinsky who's here with us today.
2:53:22
In fiscal year twenty four BCR had three lines.
2:53:27
In fiscal year twenty five we have 12 that included a transfer of four so new or or eight.
2:53:37
And in terms of the timing, you know, basically we will be receiving these pieces of infrastructure when they are completed.
2:53:45
So as I mentioned, the first set of gates at Esker have already been transferred.
2:53:52
Full completion is estimated for late twenty twenty six.
2:53:55
The Brooklyn Bridge Montgomery, which we just demoed a couple of weeks ago with deputy mayor Joshi and and commissioner Tom Foley.
2:54:04
Thank you.
2:54:07
Will also be done towards the end of twenty twenty six.
2:54:10
Red Hook should be kicking off construction this year, and then it will be complete in 2028.
2:54:15
So basically, whenever these things are complete, we're going to be taking them on.
2:54:19
And so deputy commissioner Farrell and Tassos and her team are planning out our staffing needs accordingly.
