Over the past year, this committee has held a number of oversight hearings on topics such as New York City's drought and efforts to maintain the filtration avoidance determination or the FAD.

At this hearing, the committee would like to revisit some of those items and additionally discuss federal funding risks associated with the new administration in Washington, ongoing capital projects and their growing costs, DEP's future sustainability efforts and more.
