- The 21 new lines are not subject to the two-for-one hiring policy
- These positions are for new mandates and initiatives
- DCWP plans to promote its positive agency culture to attract candidates
- Certain revenue-generating positions, such as inspectors and attorneys, are also exempt from the two-for-one policy
- The agency maintains active conversations with OMB to expedite approvals for positions subject to the two-for-one policy

And considering that you have a relatively high vacancy rate of 13.2%, how do you expect then to fill the 21 lines?

Well, part of that is that we're not those 21 new lines are not subject to the two for one that other vacancies in the agency are through, you know, OMB.

It is new mandates.

There's our agency, as you know, it's we have a really wonderful culture, we'll keep spreading the word about those positions to bring people into doing this amazing work with us.

And attorneys that are also exempt from the two for one.

And then, of course, if any anything that does apply to two for one, that's an active conversation that we're having with OMB all the time, to move through approvals as expeditiously as we can.
