Thanks so much commissioner.
2:20:23
And it's good to see you and the the team here today.
2:20:27
I'm gonna start with street's plan.
2:20:33
Local law one ninety five of 2019 also known as the streets plan or the transportation master plan was passed in October 2019 when new commissioner was the chair of the committee on transportation.
2:20:48
Local law one ninety five states by 02/01/2023 and by each February 1 thereafter, the department shall submit to the mayor and the speaker of the of the council and post on the department's website an update regarding any changes to the plan from the previous year.
2:21:08
In violation of that provision, DOT released its streets plan almost a full month and a half after the required February 1 date and in further violation of the law, DOT did not submit their report to the council but instead released it to the press.
2:21:28
Why was DOT delinquent with its report and why did they not follow the law and submit it to the council before going to the press?
