Before we get started, I wanted to acknowledge that this is my first time here since becoming president of transit.

So I'm gonna talk a little bit about myself.

I'm a third generation transit worker followed in the footsteps of my father and grandfather.

And in April, I marked twenty eight years of service to the MTA.

I started my career as an assistant signal maintainer at the Long Island Railroad, digging ditches, climbing poles, and keeping the trains moving.

Also repairing crossing gates to ensure our system was safe.

I've taken increasing responsibility overseeing the operations at Penn Station Central Control, and eventually transferred to MTA headquarters to become a special assistant to the then chairman and CEO.

I've taken leadership positions at New York City Transit, privilege of serving as a chief of field operations, chief of the rail control center, vice president of Staten Island Railway, and most recently as a senior vice president of subways, where we delivered historically strong subway performance and implemented new and higher standards for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.

Being appointed as the president, by chairman and CEO Jana Lieber has really been an honor of my career, and I'm thrilled to be serving the 50,000 employees, 6,000,000 customers that we have daily.
