6:45:19
You're doing a great job with the chair.
6:45:21
While I'm here, I wanna talk about making sure the DOT stay funded is because I know there's a lot of people, that want DOT be defunded because of the commissioner.
6:45:29
Yeah.
6:45:29
He's a bad commissioner, but if you defund the DOT, guys, what do think is gonna happen?
6:45:32
A lot of people will be be laid off from their jobs if the DOT be defunded.
6:45:37
Now so you can't be defunded DOT because of, like, one person and one organization.
6:45:43
I don't like trans all.
6:45:44
Look.
6:45:44
That's a different that's a different thing.
6:45:46
But I wanna talk about this right now that the the two nonprofits need to keep funding the city council, which is called the Worker Justice Project and the, Street Bend the Project.
6:45:55
They do a lot of great work for the, for the members.
6:45:57
They do a lot of great work for the city for the city.
6:45:59
They do a lot of great work for the migrants, and they need to keep make sure that they're gonna be secured in the city council.
6:46:05
I'm calling on the city council to make sure that they get funded over $1,000,000 through the city council, both nonprofits.
6:46:12
Get they keep on getting their fund through the city council.
6:46:15
I'm I'm gonna make sure that the city council put that delivery to hub outside of city hall.
6:46:20
Why does the lease hub not outside city hall?
6:46:22
Wonder why.
6:46:22
But let's make that clear.
6:46:24
So like I said, don't be for the DOT.
6:46:27
Protect our, protect our street vendors.
6:46:30
Fund the DOT.
6:46:31
Fund the law school fund worker trust project.
6:46:33
Fund street vendor project.
6:46:36
Protect the migrants and, protect NYC.
6:46:39
And I wanna make sure that, like I said, the city council should not be the budget should be weaponized against these two nonprofits because the speakers run for to mayor.
6:46:48
And let's make that clear.
6:46:49
Please do not defund these organizations because they don't wanna support Adria Adil as mayor.
Selvena N. Brooks-Powers
