Alright.

Commissioner, I'm just gonna ask, do you believe that that is a sufficient amount of resources to run the Parks Department of New York City?
Susan Donoghue

We, as I said, am really proud of our staff, and they do the best job they can with the resources they have available.

Well, I I failed to see how it's an adequate amount of resources to support the staff that I no doubt are working extremely hard, but with a hiring freeze in place and hundreds of positions lost, I simply many seasonal positions and not enough permanent lines, I fail to see how you all have the resources you need from this mayor to do the job that you're supposed to do for our 30,000 acres of park space across New York City.

I do want to point out, council member, that our seasonal plan of 5,000 seasonal employees is not subject to a two for one hiring freeze.

So we do bring on, at this time of year in mid April, extensive seasonal staff to help us in the busiest time of year.
